Message from HOD

Welcome to the Department of Biotechnology – Delhi Technological University and I thank you for your interest. We have prepared this website to acquaint you with the various features of our department – academic programs, research areas, facilities and achievements. Biotechnology is now the great hope of the world. Just as the industrial revolution and information technology brought about successive paradigm shifts in the way human beings live and interact in the world, the world now looks to biotechnology to bring about the next sweeping wave of change.

We encourage our students and faculty to travel to meetings and conferences as it gives opportunities for them to present papers or posters disseminating research results as well as interacting with experts.

Biotechnology, with its tremendous implications and consequences, excites all the spheres, from the scientific community to world governments. The possibilities of biotechnology are so vast as to be unimaginable even to our best minds. The implications and consequences are tremendous, and there is palpable excitement about what biotechnology can achieve in all spheres, from the scientific community to world governments.
